Check this page, http://www.stf-electronics.com/ they have a kit that comes with a step by step manual, you dont need to be an electronics guru to build it, and the final results are great, its aroud 300 bucks, and make sure to ask for the super charge kit, it gets you a cool distortion on the kit

If you are handy with a solder gun so open it and start re-soldering all the contacts, start by the volume connections. Or maybe the volume potenciometer is going bad, if you can remove it, take it to radiochack and they will show you the right replacemet. Good luck, and dont fix anything wth the am...

Yes you can, you can get a cheaper interface that would do the same

check the new squiers, their quality improved a lot and is te best bang for the buck right now

check hercules stands

if is tuned down so the neck should be set for that tuning... so there is no problem

try groove tubes, very nice and not that expensive, or maybe MESA tubes, hard to find but very nice.

BTW if ou are getting a pair make sure they are matched, and of buying on ebay be careful, there is tons of cheap copies around, only buy from sellers specialized in selling tubes
