I bought a tourvan about a year ago. It's a 1992 Chevy G20 conversion van, 7 passenger, had 85k miles on it, paid 2300 bucks for it. Not dirt cheap, but for something that we've taken out several times and lived in, it wasn't a bad deal at all. The insurance on it was cheap too, as I've got a clean ...

Why not get a case? A gig bag is only slightly better than no case at all.

as for installing, get someone who's done it before to show you. you need to rebias the amp, something I've never done as I've never changed tubes myself, and if you do it incorrectly then I think you can fuck your tone over even more.

I've got two 7 strings, an Ibanez RG7420 and an LTD M207. I have no problem with having a floyd rose, but all the same I love both these guitars. Never played much on a schecter, but I've only heard good things.

Tremsetters are not hard to install. I don't know how they affect detuning, as I play in the same tuning all the time.

Also, IMO, DiMarzio > Duncan.

High on Fire/A Life Once Lost/Saviours/Rwake tour!

Rwake isn't on all the dates, but since they're from Arkansas, they're playing the Memphis show. I'm fucking stoked, because whenever they come through by themselves it seems they always play on weekdays and they NEVER play before midnight (and rarely before 1 a.m.) I could give a shit less about AL...

go to places like waffle house, ihop, huddle house and ask for there spent egg cartons, cover the place up with them Egg boxes don't insulate sound, they only change the acoustics in that room. In theory, they should offer some degree of insulation with the numerous tiny pockets of air. It won't be...

I'm now bidding on a boss hs-2. I know it won't work as well as an eventide, but I can't afford the latter, and the reviews I've read of the hs-2 make it sound pretty good.

The Harmonizer on the Boss GT processors is pretty intuitive, but still no match for having a 2nd guitarist to harmonize with you. Oh I agree, but in some leads I just want a phrase here and there harmonized, and it sounds bad/weird when our 2nd guitarist switches back and forth between the rhythm ...

Made the switch about a year ago and I love it. Main axe is an Ibanez RG7420 w/ an Air Norton 7 in the neck. Bought a backup LTD M207 for cheap, though I have to work on it a little bit as it has some sort of grounding issue.

I'm looking for some sort of intelligent harmonizing unit, pedal or rackmount. When I saw Necrophagist live, Muhammed had something and it did exactly what I want, but I have no clue what he was using; any suggestions?
