I bought a tourvan about a year ago. It's a 1992 Chevy G20 conversion van, 7 passenger, had 85k miles on it, paid 2300 bucks for it. Not dirt cheap, but for something that we've taken out several times and lived in, it wasn't a bad deal at all. The insurance on it was cheap too, as I've got a clean ...

spector makes nice basses. they're pricy but if you've got the cash they are well worth the money My buddy suggested I should look into Squire's as well. Since I'm not exactly the best bassist in the world I'm really just looking for something in the $200 or lower range, just to get the job done. w...

I've never even heard of rebiasing. Someone explain. http://studentweb.eku.edu/justin_holton/tubes.html#a6 What is basing? Example of similar basing between the octals EL34 and 6L6GC. * Pin 1: suppressor grid (6L6GC has it tied to cathode internally) * Pin 2: heater * Pin 3: plate * Pin 4: screen g...

as for installing, get someone who's done it before to show you. you need to rebias the amp, something I've never done as I've never changed tubes myself, and if you do it incorrectly then I think you can fuck your tone over even more.

High on Fire/A Life Once Lost/Saviours/Rwake tour!
Rwake isn't on all the dates, but since they're from Arkansas, they're playing the Memphis show. I'm fucking stoked, because whenever they come through by themselves it seems they always play on weekdays and they NEVER play before midnight (and rarely before 1 a.m.) I could give a shit less about AL...

go to places like waffle house, ihop, huddle house and ask for there spent egg cartons, cover the place up with them Egg boxes don't insulate sound, they only change the acoustics in that room. In theory, they should offer some degree of insulation with the numerous tiny pockets of air. It won't be...

i've never had a locking bridge trem system, but i'm thinking of getting one. i don't need the bar getting in way, i just palm the motherfucker down. i would imagine that the biggest disadvantage of having one is that if u ain't got a back-up guitar when a string snaps, your show set is fuckt. Very...

The Harmonizer on the Boss GT processors is pretty intuitive, but still no match for having a 2nd guitarist to harmonize with you. Oh I agree, but in some leads I just want a phrase here and there harmonized, and it sounds bad/weird when our 2nd guitarist switches back and forth between the rhythm ...

Harmonizer?
I'm looking for some sort of intelligent harmonizing unit, pedal or rackmount. When I saw Necrophagist live, Muhammed had something and it did exactly what I want, but I have no clue what he was using; any suggestions?

hi! does anybody knows the specific gagdet that dimebag was using as for his great sqealing effect? Actually, and not many people know this, every squeal you hear is actually the sound of him raping a bobcat. It was looped live as there's no way he could rape AND shred at the same time; that's a st...
